The George & Dragon is a unique pub and restaurant, truly independent with a style that denotes its 300 year old history. During the last 30 years it has developed from a traditional English pub renowned for serving a classic English pint, to what could be described as a “Gastro pub” But to put it more simply, than that description. It is a traditional pub that serves excellent food. The George and dragons menu presents a slice of British rustic cooking, that is sometimes infused with a slight twist from around the world. We aim to keep our menu seasonal and where possible, locally sourcing our products.

Our range of real ales reflects a taste of West Sussex. Arundel Breweries wide range of beers is always on our menu. Supported by a guest ale from the surrounding counties. The wine menu is supplied by Berry Brothers & Rudd.

The George & Dragon is an excellent destination for walkers or people who fancy a drive and enjoy the rural beauty of the south downs. Dogs welcome in the bar area.
